Bespoke Garden Gym in Worcester Park

From cleared site to finished space.

A bespoke garden gym with an adjoining storage shed, delivered as a complete turnkey project. Our work began with site clearance and the installation of ground screw foundations.

1. Site clearance

   Clearing and preparing the site for the new garden gym and adjoining storage shed.

2. Foundations and floor structure

   Installing ground screw foundations and constructing the timber floor structure, incorporating 90 mm PIR insulation and an 18 mm OSB subfloor.

3. Wall construction

   Building the walls using 4 × 2-inch C24 graded timber framing and installing 18 mm OSB sheathing.

4. Roof construction

   Constructing the roof using 8 × 2-inch C24 graded timber framing and fitting guttering.

5. Doors and windows

   Installing the doors and windows.

6. External cladding

   Installing a breathable membrane and a ventilation gap behind the cladding. Fitting fire-resistant cement board on the elevations close to the boundary fence, with composite cladding to the front and remaining side.

7. Electrical first fix

   Installing the electrical wiring before the internal walls were closed.

8. Insulation and plasterboard

   Fitting 90 mm PIR insulation to the interior and installing plasterboard.

9. Plastering and painting

   Plastering and painting the interior.

10. Flooring and electrical completion

    Laying laminate flooring and completing the electrical installation.

11. Composite decking and final handover

    Installing composite decking in front of the gym and completing the final clean-up, ready for handover as a dedicated home workout space with adjoining storage.
